Georgia's Body Plan

The beginning

I am Georgiana Zwemmer-ghioc, born in 1980, living in The Netherlands. My love for bodybuilding started when I was very young, at the age of 12. My brother, six years older, started back then to train in the most experimental way. It was 1992, just 3 years after the revolution in Romania. During the communist period, sports like bodybuilding, martial arts, fight sports, were interdicted and everything was new and with almost no information to start with. He learned it from people with experience in roman – Greek fights and he put up a gym made of materials bought in garages or factory yards. It was a lot of passion in that gym, populated by a very small, but very stable, dedicated young man. 

I’ve learned bodybuilding by observing them and practice it when no one was there to watch; in the beginning, I didn’t have my brother’s approval to start lifting weights, but later I got all his support when my commitment to fitness was more than clear and undeniable. His support culminated (next to his coaching) with him being physically present and giving the strongest encouragement at the World Championship of Natural bodybuilding in 2021 in Bucharest. 

Competitions

I started to compete in 2018 and got rewarded as followed:

• 2018, 2019, 2020 national champion in The Netherlands for figure and women’s physique.
• 2018 – vice champion Figure master in Hungary, European Natural Championship.
• 2019 – 3^rd place Women’s Physique in Italy, European Natural Championship; 2^nd place mixed pairs;
• 2021 – 3^rd place Figure master in Romania, World Championship;
• 2022 – 4^th place Figure Open in Birmingham – Super Naturals WNBF UK;
• 2024 – 1^st place Figure Tall in Sacramento USA – Muscle Mayhem WNBF US; 2^nd place Figure Open and 2^nd place Fit Body Sacramento USA – Muscle Mayhem WNBF US;
